Videos under 60 seconds are ineligible outright. The full eligibility bar, the strike system, and what AI disclosure does and does not require.
TikTok's Creator Rewards programme has a hard structural requirement that surprises most people: videos must be at least one minute long. If your pipeline renders sub-minute clips, it produces content that cannot earn from this programme at all.
Creator Rewards requires videos of at least one minute. This is not a soft guideline. Content under that threshold is ineligible for the programme, and no amount of good performance changes it.
This has a direct architectural consequence for any tool that renders short form: if the default output is under 60 seconds, the default output cannot be monetised on TikTok. Worth checking before building a pipeline around 30-second clips.
A minimum of 10,000 followers and 100,000 views in the last 30 days. Sufficient views on the For You Page in the same window. 1080p or higher resolution.
The content itself must not be a Duet or Stitch and must not be Photo Mode. The programme also lists explicitly disqualifying categories, including low-quality presentation such as split screens and slide-style videos, and content judged unoriginal or minimally edited.
Five video violations within a 30-day period makes content ineligible. Five account violations results in permanent ineligibility.
The appeal process allows one appeal per piece of content, with no escalation path. That is the number to hold in mind: you get one shot per video and no route above it, so the appeal should be filed once, carefully, rather than resubmitted.
TikTok requires disclosure for realistic synthetic media and for AI-generated personas. Disclosure is not required for generic text-to-speech narration where the voice is not recognisably a specific real individual, which covers most narration-first content.
One consequence is worth planning for. TikTok auto-labels content carrying C2PA Content Credentials, and those labels cannot be removed by the uploader. If you stamp provenance metadata on an export, expect it to surface on the post.
Separately, TikTok has been testing account-level AI spam detection in politics, finance and medical categories. As with YouTube, the topic matters more than the production method.
ReelsAudio renders faceless episodes with consistent voice and music, varied structure, and loudness normalised per platform.
